| Although my advertising career began more than thirty years ago, in 1977, as a commercial photographer, by the beginning of the new decade, I had become the in-house ad agency for a major antique importer and auction house.
Naturally, my appreciation for antiques grew as I began to target my photographic abilities to illustrate the beauty of fine porcelains, exotic woods and works of art. I became a student of the antique marketplace.
In 1985, I launched my own advertising production service, and since that time, have been called upon to use those marketing skills to produce advertising campaigns exclusively for antique dealers, decorators and auction houses across five southern states.
In 2002 internet "Live Auctions" began. This ushered in a whole new way of selling antiques at auction. The new digital revolution had allowed us to actually photograph every lot in a sale, to present in great detail, the auction offering to the world. | | Circanet.com is a service we have been refining over the last three years. He is one of five to graduate in the Honors Program since its re-inception at VIC in 2001.
